Care & Lifetime Restoration

Keep the piece out of prolonged direct sun and away from radiators. Store it loosely stuffed, in its dust bag, with air around it.

Wipe dust with a dry, soft cloth. If the piece is caught in rain, let it dry naturally at room temperature — never with heat.

Condition lightly once or twice a year with a neutral, wax-free leather balm. Do not use silicone, solvent or household cleaners on bark-tanned leather.

All fittings are solid brass with a 24-carat gold-plated finish. Buff gently with a dry cloth only; polishes and abrasives will cut through plating.

We restore any piece we have made, for as long as we are able to. Restoration covers re-stitching, edge refinishing, re-conditioning, hardware replacement and lining repair.

Restoration is a chargeable service and is quoted in writing before any work begins. Return shipping to the atelier is arranged by us; we will confirm who bears which cost when we quote.
